What Inspires Me…

When I design a space, I like to look at the whole picture, not just one piece or one trend. For me, it’s about creating something that feels balanced, lived-in, and true to the character of the space.

I’m especially inspired by places and their history. There’s something really beautiful about taking a space with a past and giving it a new life, without erasing what made it special in the first place. I believe that preserving original elements brings soul, personality and depth to a space.

Being French and having traveled quite a bit around Europe, I’ve developed a more worldly view of design. I’ve seen how different cultures blend the old with the new, and that mix really speaks to me. It’s something I try to bring into my own work.

Lately, I’ve also found a lot of inspiration in nature. especially from my weekend trips to the redwood forests along the California coast. There’s something about the light filtering through the trees, the textures of the bark, and the feeling of calm and freedom that really sticks with me. It reminds me how powerful natural beauty can be, and how important it is to bring that feeling into the spaces we live in.

At the end of the day, my goal is to design spaces that feel layered, thoughtful, and full of character. places that tell a story and feel truly lived in.
